    Please ignore all positive reviews and avoid this bank and especially the Gloucester branch at all cost. We banked with Natwest for a long time and when we came to them for help and advice during some financial difficulties, the member of staff who met is was judgemental, patronising, condescending and rude. She made us feel small, and pathetic for asking for help. She told us a bank account with a monthly subscription would help our difficulties, and yes we were stupid and gullible enough to follow her advice, seeing as she said it would help our situation. We were mis-sold this account as our financial difficulties became worse and Natwest didn't want to know. They had their money. When we tried to make a complaint and claim back what we had been mis-sold, we were told 2 different things. 1. Because we hadn't used any of the 'perks' of the account then our claim was unsuccessful. Prior to this we were told by a different member of staff that if we used any of the 'perks' then we would not be able make a claim. You can't have it both ways Natwest, but yet that's your reason for throwing out our claim and taking money from a family in financial difficulty. Your response was that you feel our complaint was fully investigated and the right decision was made. Your investigation contradicted itself, an absolute joke. PLEASE AVOID THIS BANK, THEY DO NOT CARE IN ANY WAY ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND WILL HAPPILY TAKE MONEY FROM FAMILIES WHO ARE STRUGGLING AND COME TO THEM FOR HELP. DISGUSTING BANK, AVOID AVOID AVOID.
