MBS Accountants have been with from the moment I started my journey as a business owner over two years ago. I can tell you how efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and understanding they are. But when you sign up to work with them you will see all of this. The best thing about MBS accountants, is that everyday they have supported me. They gave me confidence in my decisions, not once did I feel a question was too stupid and I always received a very timely and detailed response. In my opinion this team is the very best.

I am a sole trader. They were handling my books for just over a year, led me to believe the high costs I paid were for the advice they gave and to make the final tax submission a low cost. Even though I asked the accountant numerous times if they had all the info needed for my return weeks before it was due - they ended up filing it incorrectly, for a cost of 400! Bare in mind they charge a monthly DD at around 34 too! As a sole trader this never happens. Once they resubmitted my books, I was finally entitled to a tax rebate! They explained that they gave my bank details to HMRC so they could make the payment. I chased multiple times to find out when payment would be made, no emails back. Its been months since my resubmission was made, no correspondence made by MBS to let me know what was going on. With the high costs you pay, what exactly are you getting for your money?! I have just got off the phone to HMRC, they informed me that my rebate was more than what MBS had said I was getting and that they did not have my details on file to make payment, even though MBS said they had sent them. HMRC were extremely helpful from one phone call. I would not recommend this company, do not let the high star rating fool you. Avoid!
