An excellent, all round Surgery. Fantastic reception with helpful and informed receptionists, GPs that go the extra mile for their patients, nursing staff who will take their time even when they are busy. I cannot thank the team at Glastonbury Health Centre enough for the care they have shown my family over the last 20 years.

Some receptionist are ok and some just rush off the call a experience I had with one of them for example I'm trying to ask for a number for example dentist they were speaking like I didn't understand they don't do dental care there as I know they don't I asked for a number though they gave me a number that doesn't work anymore and was been advised to have a same Doctor each time, so was advised to say to receptionist that, the receptionist couldn't do that or can't in this gp, so each time it's different doctors for me etc. Had two so far decent doctors/nurse etc. One doctor didn't even put my perception on system for me to collect as they said they will so I went to boots to collect it and it was not on the system for Me to collect, that doctor was not helpful etc anyways.

I have what looks like an infection in my bowel and my consultant from Taunton advised me to go to my GP and pick up 2 specimen tubes for a stool sample so I could take them home and fill overnight. In the meantime they would email the surgery with the details of the tests required. The receptionist REFUSED to give me the specimen tubes until they received the emails. As they are now closed I will have to go back tomorrow get the tubes and try to fill them before samples are collected for testing at midday, which given my situation is unlikely and therefore the next opportunity will be Monday. Any treatment will now likely be delayed by 2-3 days. They simple don't care. They have forgotten their core purpose which is to care for sick people. 2 or 3 days more suffering is less important than form filling!
