Luke's tree and hedge care

Totally Unreliable Time-Waster Arranged the time and date for a visit for a quotation on the pruning of a large laurel bush - waited in, but "Luke" did not turn up and no contact as to why. A couple of weeks later decided to give them another try and rang again. Another time and date was arranged and after waiting in all afternoon "Luke" failed to turn up Again - with no contact as to why. So, I've given up on this time-waster and would advise anyone else contemplating attempting to use his services not to do so. Incidently, his advert in The Little Blue Book quotes a website - this website does Not exist. Also, he is Not a Checkatrade member.

The job didnt quite go to plan. Luke had said it would be a day to remove a very old walnut tree and take away the logs. He sent two chaps instead of the 3/4 I was expecting but the 2 were very professional. Real artists in their field, safety minded, professional and got the tree down safe and in good time. Sadly though the lorry wasnt big enough to take all the tree away so it was left at mine, in a very safe and careful way. However it took another week before he told me to go on and sale them as he didnt have time to collect, I would gladly give the chaps 5* for taking the tree down. If it wasnt for the fact the tree should have been removed too. A shame because they were top marks. Service: Tree removal
