Called in for lunch with family unfortunately my jacket potato was hard I told a member of staff and they brought us a slice of cake as a gesture of goodwill the waitress never asked if anyone had any allergies so I refused the cake. I was only offered a refund for the potato after I'd had contacted them. They told us that they were willing to refund on understanding that we didn't return to this cafe which I thought was very unreasonable... Out of principle I will not return and found this statement very rude.....

Difficulty accessing the cafe no direct access you have to walk through the entrance and garden centre before you can enter the cafe. Food was edible but nothing special. Staff were lovely and really helpful. When asked if the locked door to car park could be open a waitress accessed a key enabling us to leave via this route. With less walking fir my friend who is on crutches and in pain.
