We approached Tom @ Ground Designs to design an extension to our bungalow to make it more accessible for my husband and myself who both have chronic illnesses. When we had to adjust our budget, Tom was able to suggest changes that enabled us to have the extra space we wanted at a lower cost. I would recommend Ground Designs without any hesitation and will be using Tom again in the next few years to design a second extension for our bedroom.

Tom Ground helped us from the beginning to end of the renovation of a 180 year old Barn. His support throughout this process was amazing. He was polite, friendly and efficient, and even easy to get hold of! He listened to our wish list, and came up with ideas he thought we might like. His extensive knowledge on the refurbishment and renovation of old buildings (including a great deal of work for the National Trust, I believe) provided us with great reassurance. The end result is exactly what we wanted. His easy going manner made the whole process so much less stressful than it might otherwise have been. We cant thank him enough and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in need of an architect.
