Gilmorton Recreation Ground

Great little park across from the main park. Swings, a slide, x2 climbing frames, and a big swing. Lots of fields to look at ( horses and cows) and walks.

Took my little girl here she loves it has a section for little kids and an open area with a massive(and I mean massive) tunnel slide and a zip wire. Extremely nice as many parks don't have that variety. It also has an exercise area with multiple equipment to help you stay fit and healthy. I really liked that the little kids part has the wooden train, that has Gilmorton express along the side. And I was told it was reference to the train that use to go though Gilmorton. But definitely will keep talking my children here again

A great village amenity. There is a modern children's playground with equipment suitable for all ages. There are well surface multiple tennis courts bookable at a very reasonable cost through the village store (even cheaper to tennis club members) and there is even a very well equipped adult exercise equipment area with quite a wide range of fairly new activities if you wish to burn some calories or improve your fitness. This great park, funded in large part by villagers themselves and supported by the PCC and a variety of local funding sources, has something fir everyone. For such a small village we really are very privileged to have such a great park.
