This cottage is beautiful. Really clean and comfortable. Quality fixtures and fittings, everything is provided that you need.Judith and Andre are brilliant wecolming hosts and very informative regarding places to visit. Easy access to surrounding area, southwold beach is fab and well worth a visit. Plenty of nice places nearby to eat. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be going back.

We booked this cottage because we just needed to get away and relax for a weekend, and it suited us perfectly! The cottage itself it's spacious, but still cosy and has been restored beautifully. We used one of the double bedrooms upstairs, and slept really well, so quiet and peaceful. The modern bathroom had a great shower! The downstairs was open plan, with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and cosy seating. There's a wood burning stove as well, though it wasn't cold enough to use it, but sure would be really nice in the winter! One day we took a long walk along the river, which took us into Beccles and back, we really enjoyed it. The next day we had a nice lunch in the 'Wine Vaults' restaurant in town, which was really good and would highly recommend. We also enjoyed drinks in the pretty patio area outside the cottage. We found out that the owners, Jude and Andre' have a small adults only CL, which just takes 5 caravans nearby. So we might come back and book together with our friends who have a caravan, and then we'd also like to go on a boat trip on the river as well, since it's accessible just down the road.
