Recently, I took in a pair of curtains for cleaning which came back 4cm shorter than when they went in - I rang and spoke to them and sent photos and they asked for the curtains to be returned to them. When I collected the curtains for a second time, I found they had shortened the curtains so that the liner no longer hung below the front fabric but of course my curtains are now too short!
I gave them a second chance - any dry cleaner can have an off day - so took in a waistcoat that my son had got a couple of drops of blood on the lapel from a minor nose bleed. Sadly the stains are still there (including a food stain that I hadnt even noticed before) and since theyve used heat to press the garment, I cant get the blood stain out myself at home using the cold water method.
What a shame but I wont be using their services again.
