Amazing staff and practice I have nothing but praise for Gildersome Health Centre. All the staff there are brilliant and helpful, both the doctors are so caring and really listen to what you have to say. Best of all is I never have a problem getting an appointment. Thank you

Called up this morning, asked for phone call with dr abot , was told no appointment for a week or ring in the morning! Told the receptionist fran I think , I told her I had been feeling suicidal , she said go to hospital, I said I dont feel like I want to kill myself today ! I was prescribed tablets a year ago , didnt take them as didnt work well for me , so wanted to try again , as my anxiety getting worse which makes me feel I dont want to be here ! just wanted dr to send prescription or 2 minutes call back , she said again nowt till next week ! I said ok never mind , and in the most high pitched patronising voice she said ok bye so I mimicked her and said just in case your wonder ring my name is . She said ok Ill in form the police in the same high pitch and put the phone down . The manager rang me straight bk and said they were concerned because I told her if I dont get an appointment today I would kill myself . What an outrageous lie !! I asked if the calls were recorded she said no , I can not begin to explain how disgusted and angry I am she never even asked my name !!!!! Any I told her I was going to seek help else where and the manager said ok Ill make a note of that hung up the phone what a disgrace!

Nothing but praise for all staff at the health centre. Everyone takes the time to listen and you never feel rushed

My Husband was told today that he had a heart attack last year. He went into hospital but no one told him. The paperwork doesn't say this and there has been no aftercare. He called back and asked to speak to the Doctor again. A receptionist confirmed there was nothing to say he had and if that was the case he would have seen the nurse for further care. Now he has no idea what the truth is. Not good enough as the Doctor didn't confirm. Last week one doctor told him he needed an examination for something else and made him an app for the next day. When he arrived the other doctor had no idea he was due to be seen. He didn't do the examination and sent him home.
