Stone Gables Care Home

Called multiple times within the space of 30 minutes and the phone was engaged every time. When I did finally get through the woman who answered didn't exactly have a friendly tone. When I had found out the information I needed she then hung up without saying goodbye which is polite!

This care Home is absolutely horrendous, I had the misfortune to go to this Home to look around. The smell hits you as soon as you walk through the door, the furniture and floors were dirty and stained with food. I over heard a member of staff saying she couldnt find underwear for a resident and she was told to get some out of the ladies room next door!! How could anybody put there loved one into this home. When I got home I read the cqc report, which I should of done before my visit. Every item required improvement, how can they continue to admit residents whilst their rating is so low??? I wanted to give no stars but unfortunately you have to give at least one star to be able to write a review.
