Smart Cats Cattery

I was so nervous leaving my little Fur Baby in a cattery for the first time and so I chose this place due to the excellent reviews. The team are all lovely and made the whole process really easy and gave me and my husband the confidence that our kitten would be well looked after, and she was. The rooms are very clean with each a window view of either the farm or inside the barn, so there's lots of interesting things and farm animals for your cat to watch. There's a heated radiator, places to climb and sit and there's a couple of hiding places and fluffy rugs provided but you're able to leave your cat with as much of their own bedding, toys, scratching posts and blankets as you want to keep them comfortable.. I was even able to leave my cat her water fountain because the rooms have a plug and this was important for me because my cat likes to drink from the fountain rather then from the bowl, the team even used the spring water bottles we left to top up her fountain too which was really good of them and we appreciated it. They use your food or you have the option for them to use a variety of their own with your dietary instructions and they will either use your own litter and box if your cat is fussy or they will provide a tray and litter for you, it's up to you with what you're comfortable with. Nothing was difficult they're very accommodating, professional, experienced, and qualified cat first aiders so you know your cat is safe and in good hands. Me and my husband have felt very welcomed and they remembered pushkin from her first stay and loved caring for her and watching her little personality develop during her stay. The team really care and go above and beyond to make sure your cat/s receive all they need. We loved that you recieve photos or videos every morning of your cat too. We looked forward to that every day when we were away on holiday as it helped put our minds at rest knowing she was ok. We got back a very happy kitty, and you can't ask for any more then that. Wonderful cattery with excellent staff. My cat has never been so happy in a cattery. They took fantastic care of him & I particularly enjoyed getting pictures of him looking so well & happy. Can't recommend enough.

I cannot recommend highly enough Smart Cats Cattery it has wonderful staff and is a fantastic environment for cats. My cat Rooster loved his week stay, with a big window looking out at the countryside. I got regular videos & pictures of how he was getting on which was lovely to see. He will be returning. Massive thank you to Linda who was wonderful & kind.

This was the first time I had booked my 3 fur babies into smart cats. What a lovely place. The staff are friendly and could not have been more helpful when I had to rearrange my original dates. Piggly,Bailey, and Kittenboo seemed to settle in really quickly, and the regular photos are great. I can recommend Smart Cats to anyone,it is great. Thank you to the team for looking after my 3 babies and I can only apologise for Princess Piggly being a bit timid.....she is like that with everyone.x
