        Only visited for a pint or two on a bank holiday Sunday, landlord Hal was welcoming and friendly. Picked a cask ale from the three on offer (decent selection), then I notice the craft can fridge! Being a craft beer fan I was amazed (and very pleased) at what this pub in a small village had in stock! Can honestly say I've never come across such a great choice in such an unexpected location. Lovely spot, can recommend

        Fantastic village pub - friendly welcome, delicious food, great beers on tap, a pool table and Bingo. What more could you want? Also very dog and children friendly.

        Friendly and helpful staff, offering a great selection of drinks and delicious food. They were able to squeeze us in arriving without a booking on a busy Saturday evening, although would recommend booking at least a day ahead normally! They provided a delicious dinner for our group. Definitely an asset to the village and surrounding area, worth visiting if youre staying nearby.
