really bad service/ no return of deposit. BEWARE
Dear Darren
Further to our recent booking with you we are writing regarding the return of the full deposits for both caravans. We have heard nothing from you since the Glastonbury weekend and the return of the deposits is now well overdue.
We also want to make a formal complaint about the service we received from you. We were thoroughly disappointed to arrive on site at Glastonbury to no cutlery, glasses, plates or bedding as you promised us would be in the caravans.
We had to leave site and purchase these for 8 people as we turned up with nothing as you repeatedly assured us they would be provided and you promised you were delivering them on Wednesday morning. You completely disappeared after the stressful day we spent pushing you all day by phone to deliver the caravans to the right place on site in time to get them in before the site was full up.
We were also expecting the usual commodities such as a kettle or a microwave and so bought a lot of food with us, which in the end couldnt be eaten and was waste of money, because the caravans didnt have the basics which were promised would be supplied.
You also said that we would have water, and we filled the barrels but none of the showers actually worked. This was also probably a power issue.
You should also be aware that none of the lights in one the caravans worked and we spent the nightime in darkness. Some of the light sockets didnt even have light bulbs in them, but the ones that did have light bulbs didnt work either.
I explained to you the reason why we had the caravans is because I was pregnant and we were hoping to have a much easier experience with everything provided.
As you can imagine we feel completely let down by your handling of this service and it was also duly noted by the Glade Production Team.
We would therefore be most grateful if you could confirm to us you are returning the deposits paid and we can all move on from this disastrous scenario as soon as possible.
We will require a speedy response to this please.
