I have used Harrold Opticians for many many years and given them plenty of business so it amazes me that when I ring up to ask a simple question regarding the prescription of my bifocal glasses which I previously bought from them - they are not able to give this to me. I had been planning on booking in to replace the bifocals at Harrolds. The glasses are now 3 years old and badly scratched but I paid good money for them. Apparently I cannot replace the lenses until I have had an eye test with them. Surely this should be my choice, I simply wish to replace the lenses. I have no problems whatsoever with my eyes at the moment.

I used the audiology service at Harrolds Gerrards Cross. In the first instance to have my ears microsuctioned to clear a blockage of wax and then for support with the tinnitus which was already present before the microsuction and continues at present. I could not recommend Amanda and Louise more highly. They are so kind, supportive and knowledgeable and I am thankful to know they are there for me if I needed further support with the tinnitus. Huge thanks to them for the time and support they have given me. The rest of the team I used for finding and booking the appointment were also great. Thank you

I recently broke the arm of my glasses and the ones I needed were no longer stocked. I assumed I would need a new pair at a substantial cost. However, the assistant said that she might be able to source a different pair of arms. I was a bit doubtful, but to my surprise a week later I received a call saying that a replacement pair had been successfully found and fitted. I am delighted that the assistant took the trouble to go the extra mile and saved me an awful lot of money.

I have used Chilton Watson for years for my glasses and they have been excellent. They now provide a hearing aid service too which I have used in recent months. It's been brilliant. The service has been tailored to my needs and nothing has been too much trouble. Their consultant, Louise, is a true expert. The result has been life changing.
