Eden Care At Home Ltd

Having had a family member who worked for this company and seeing how they were treated in such an appalling manner I wouldn't advise anyone to either work for them or receive care. They overlap calls, give no travel time to the carers, sometimes will send only 1 carer to a call requiring 2 carers while the office sit around in their ivory tower. Any complaints are not listened to (covered up) and carers feel scared to raise issues as they are treated spitefully by the coordinators. Anyone who challenges the registered manager Paul Abbott is subjected to his passive aggressive behaviours. Odious is the best way I could describe him! If you are looking for a care provider for your loved ones look elsewhere as these people just create bad feeling and are slipshod in their approach to the care of their clients and staff alike.

Laura and Marie from Eden Care were absolutely excellent in caring for my 88 year old Mother in the last month of her life before she went to hospital. If possible, I would give them 6 stars! They were genuinely caring and committed, with great caring skills and communication. They also really helped to raise my Mother's morale with their humorous and highly efficient teamwork. I really hope they're as highly valued and enumerated as they deserve by Eden Care, as they are worth their weight in gold and should be highly treasured. Many thanks, Laura and Marie from me and on behalf of my late Mother. You both were absolutely brilliant and made a great difference to her last month!

My dad started having care with these over 2 years ago.for the 1st year they were great.then it all started going wrong.when all the good carers started leaving.twice they never turned up in the evening to give dad his tea and tablets.after numerous of problems and endless phone calls the owner jim told me if i didnt like it to f off and find some 1 else.not long after that my dad had a fall and ended up in hospital.as the carer was late by over an hour.he was found by his neighbour.i wouldnt let these people look after a pig for me let alone a family member again..all the good carers are long gone STAY WELL AWAY.

This EC home care provider is to be avoided because of management. Clients not placed as a priority only money and profit. Managers are incompetent and while there are carers that do their very best , thats down to individuals not how managers recruit which is via social media. Carers are not trained sufficiently and constantly complain about senior management but say too intimidated to raise these issues.

The failing is here is management. I have worked here while ago. Awful . Carers not looked after and about profit and reputablation . This home care Agency is befjectful and offered care can and has been neglectful. Covered well by managers.
