Upon arrival we were very impressed with the location, just what we were looking for as a group of 9 professional ladies on a relaxing weekend break. Theres a pub within a couple of mile walk which is really nice and the food even nicer. The house itself is light and spacious, just what we needed. However, there were insufficient facilities to accommodate the 9 of us, with only 8 seats at the dining table and only one bathroom with shower facilities. The house wasnt clean, particularly around the dining area and kitchen; dirt left on the floor, cobwebs up in the light fittings, hob needed a good wipe down before use. I could go on but overall a disappointment particularly when the lead party in our group has still not had the refund for the 250 deposit paid on arrival 8 weeks ago!!!

We stayed at the Ladera House as a group of 9 in Feb 23. Upon arrival we were impressed with the quiet location. The house was very spacious and had a lot of potential. The property sleeps 10, there were only 8 seats available at the dining table. The furniture in the lounge/dining area didn't match and was too small for the large area. Very large kitchen with ample space to cook, however a property that serves for 10 people had a 2 slice toaster and only 1 kettle which needed to be boiled twice for everyone to have a hot drink together. The plates/dishes were all odd and no matching sets. The dishwasher was not in good working condition and most items had to be re hand washed as they were still filthy. The hot tub was not checked for the duration of our stay, we didn't see any staff apart from on the day of arrival. There is 1 toilet, 1 shower and 2 en suite bathrooms with toilet and bath. For a property of such a size, additional toilets and showers would be recommended. The whole place was filthy with cobwebs, dust, stains on carpets, and had not been swept for quite some time as there were sweets, toys and rubbish under the sofa and dining table. We swept the floor twice on our 1st day to get rid of what appeared ro he months worth of dust and rubbish. The property was left cleaner after our 3 night stay than it had been in months. Quick to take our money but still not received the large deposit refund and keep getting excuse after excuse for the delay. Would NOT stay here again and would not recommend. The location is the best part of this property.

we stayed in the ladera house called the stables for a long weekend with friends for a 40th birthday. I have to say it was amazing lovely place friendly staff . the house is stunning and is the place if you a large house in a nice quiet location, we will definitely be going back . thank you to the staff at ladera lodges , I will be recommend this to all my friends and family

It was a beautiful home to stay in, we stayed in the home that sleeps up to 10 people, however we got there carpets were really dirty, it needed vaccuming, there was stains on the bedsheets, there was hairs on the bedsheets, some places were dusty, the cleaning was unsatisfactory, when complained, not much was done about it, some of the furniture was broken, so overal wasnt to happy with the stay
