        Hesitant about recommending this place because I love swinging by for a quiet pint and selfishly don't want it to get busy. I really like this place though, great outside seating area which is a brilliant place to while away a sunny afternoon.

        What a fabulous pub. We called on Sunday for a family get together, a party of 6 adults and 2 children. Our meals varied from the Sunday Roast to Sandwiches and fries. The food was fabulous, it was tasty, served hot and with a smile. The staff are warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. With 2 roaring fires it made for a comfortable and cosy afternoon. We will return very soon. Many thanks to all
