Female hair loss is an emotional situation, but I finally summoned enough courage to go here for advice and wig/hairpiece suggestions. The young sales assistant couldn't care less. She was abrupt, unfeeling and impatient. Wanted me to purchase a piece without touching it or trying it on. She was reluctant to open it as 'it was probably too expensive for me' . Eventually plonked it on my head and stuck a mirror in front of me. It was a bright blonde hair piece on my reddish-light brown hair. There was no attempt at empathy, privacy, or kindness. I left feeling humiliated. It's been 8 months and I still haven't found the courage to overcome my fears and try a different store.

Had a great experience at Hot Hair. Kimara looked after me and helped me eventually find a lovely dark blond wig. She was really patient, encouraged me to look at it under natural light in the glass roofed boulevard so I was happy with the colour. Thank you Kimara.

Went to Hothair at the metro centre Gateshead today for the first time and was served by Kimara. Absolutely amazing service. She was really helpful and listened to what i wanted, took me through several options and we tried on quite a few wigs until i found exactly the right one. Kimara went through the after care with me so I know how to keep my new wig in great condition. Left the shop feeling like a new woman and got my confidence back. I'll definitely be going back there for my next wig. Thank you so much
