Sofa Club | Gateshead

Bought a portobello sofa in seashell colour from sofa club. After waiting weeks for it to arrive, we finally had to email and call to get it delivered as it wasn't turning up and the company wasn't responding to us. This week they finally responded by saying quite bluntly that it would arrive tomorrow. It has now arrived and they have sent two of the same parts of a sofa- un usable and really disappointing as we have moved into a new flat and have been sitting on the floor, waiting for our 'amazing' sofa club sofa to arrive. we also cannot get in contact with anyone from the company to resolve the issue. We are now being told that if we would like the item returned and replaced, we have to pay them 300. + when the incorrect sofa parts arrived, the delivery driver scratched up the new floor putting them in place

We went out looking for a sofa in the metro centre, we got talking to a man called Anth working at the sofa shop very helpful, he give us some great help and advice would highly recommend 5*

Fed up with going into furniture stores and the sales people pouncing on you, pushing for a sale and this is before you even sit on a sofa! I have walked out of stores in the past because of this. It was a pleasant surprise when we visited the stand in the MetroCentre the man and woman who work there were both very pleasant and not pushy at all, we spoke to Anthony and he was a lovely friendly guy very knowledgeable about the sofas explained delivery and care plan with no pressure on us to buy. We are in the process of moving so will be back to purchase soon well done for a great shopping experience!!
