If I could score lower then I totally would, my counsellor doesn't know how to listen and then accused me of not listening or working with her. When I said that I was still feeling sad immediately after having been crying for the good part of 40 minutes, she then sighed and said "even though we've just been through it and I've told you that what you're thinking is irrational". She then went back through everything we had just spoken about and asked how I felt after that. She clearly wanted a specific answer so I lied and told her I was alright. She was very defensive, clearly wanted to solve every tiny detail and had a need to be right the whole time. Her tone was also very patronising the entire time I had sessions with her. She also sent me the link to our zoom session 5 minutes after the session was meant to start on 2 separate occasions. Then also one session she scheduled 15 minutes after we agreed to, then didn't show up until 25 minutes after we had agreed to speak.
