I have two children at Caedmon, in Nursery and Year two, and attended the school myself 22 years ago. I have found the school to be warm and welcoming, with enthusiastic staff, great opportunities outside of the classroom, with trips, breakfast and after school clubs, and fund raising events. It is disappointing to read some of the historic poorer reviews of the school - I have 100% faith in the school to provide a balanced and broad education to my children, and help them develop into interesting and interested young adults.

I have also known this school for the last 17 Thankfully only 2 left. It started of so well with good teachers and a great Head. UNFORTUNATELY.....and i do really feel sad to say that some of the reviews are very true. I wish it wasnt. I agree when things are going well its great but as soon as there is criticism rather than taking it constructively its seen as a sin. You have to fight for feedback and the headteacher only comes out of hiding when things are good. Some parents are seen as a pain for trying to better their childrens education and i must admit through the years a lot of favouritism in classes has increased. There is no fairness and because of this children are unhappy and confused?! Beauty of this school is only superficial. I wish it was as before......pupils to be looked after.
