Barchester - South Chowdene Care Home

Horrible. Staff members are racists. I dont know who to report to . Because the management is zero as well. No team work , no love. I will never recommend anyone to work there

This Christmas I'd like to thank the staff of South Chowdene for looking after my Mother for the last three and a half years. They have put up with some very challenging behaviour from her and at her very worst I was afraid she'd have to be moved on to somewhere else. Thankfully, they persevered until she settled down again for which I was/am very, very grateful..... South Chowdene is her home and it would be have been a tragedy if she had had to move. This year, for the fourth year running, my family and I will be sharing Christmas with the "South Chowdeners". Everything is done to make this an enjoyable time for all .... The home is nicely decorated, the tables are set beautifully and trimmed with crackers and poppers etc. Very often there is live entertainment and every member of staff goes that extra mile to make a proper Christmas. It's a joy to be part of it! So, to all "South Chowdeners", it's a privilege to have met you, to see how you work, to spend another Christmas with you and so be able to say thank you for what you do.
