Leigh's Nursery (Gateshead)

My little one started at Leigh's Nursery (Gateshead) when he was just 6 months old. I am pleased we chose Leigh's Nursery even though it was a tough decision to make. He's now grown into an adorable 14-month-old who enjoys being at nursery. The warm welcome we receive at the door every day, the lovely crafts he brings home, the beautiful pictures of his day at nursery and his milestones on learning book are so incredible to see. It's always nice to see him eager to get to nursery in the morning and after nursery with a big smile. Liaising with staff to get a good nap time routine for him to help improve sleep at night was a life saver. We truly appreciate all the amazing staff at Leigh's Nursery (Gateshead). Continue to be outstanding!

I have been teaching yoga at Leigh's Nursery Gateshead for over 6 years now. It is such a lovely place to teach, the staff are so lovely and the nursery has such a lovely family feel to it. I am always met by lots of happy, enthusiastic children when I arrive, it is so lovely to see how excited they are about their yoga class. I would recommend this nursery to anyone looking for childcare in Gateshead.

We've put off writing this post until we're at the end of the time at Leigh's Nursery (Gateshead), if only to make sure that no one can say we were offered anything to write it, because we can't speak highly enough of the place and the whole team. Our daughter bounces in with such enthusiasm every day she's in nursery and every evening we pick her up she is full of stories and chats about everything she has done. Being a Montessori, it's all in one space with no transitioning between rooms; our little one plays with the babies and is looked after by the older children in turn. It is a warm, loving and wonderful place, and we can't think of a better start for her. We recommend it as a nursery without reservation - not sure how we'd have gotten through the last few years without having all the support the whole team have given.

I was so nervous about putting my 11 month old daughter into childcare when I went back to work. Thankfully, we chose Leighs Nursery and Im so happy we did. We neednt have worried. Shes been so welcomed and well cared for by the fantastic team since her first day. Developmentally shes come on so much over the last few months. Its so wonderful to see and she constantly surprises us with things she must have learned at nursery. Its such a bonus having the really active social media feed to see what they have been up to during the day. Thank you to everyone xx
