If I could have given this store 0 stars, then I would have. I visited this store on Sat 5th May 2018. I was born in Allerdene, Low Fell (so born not to far away). I now live in Glasgow and I was down to visit my very sick mother in the nearby QE Hospital. It was a very hot day, so my wife & I stopped off at this shop to see if they sold ice lollies. They did, my wife picked 2 out of the freezer and attempted to pay. My wife tried to pay with a Scottish 10 note. The female shop keeper refused to take the note and kept saying What is this? What is this? We dont take this money. She even told us to go next door and exchange the money at the Post Office. The 10 note, is in pounds sterling. Is this racist? It surely is?
