Newcastle Gateshead Marriott Hotel MetroCentre

1 night stay 3.5.23 , i had a fantastic room it was very clean the beds where super comfy , very well equipped room with a fridge and a large bathroom. The hotel has a free car park at the front and the rear of the hotel which is very useful. The gym is large and well equipped , you can use the pool, sauna however i never have the time. The bar area is ok for a simple meal and you can also use the on site restaurant. The breakfast was fantastic i had a large choice which was hot and they also have a toaster that actually toasts! Staff get a big 10 / 10 this is my 5th stay and if they price is right i will keep coming back! Thank you

I am currently staying in this hotel and it is one of the worst experiences of staying in a hotel I have ever had. Gorgeous rooms and the person that checked us in was very helpful, but the other people staying have been so loud that myself and my baby cant sleep. We were assured there is a 3 warning policy for noise by the receptionist, but now the night manager is telling us its a Saturday night and he cant control the behaviour of others. I have never been made to feel so like my patronage doesnt matter, if anything, I have been made to feel like I am the one being inconvenient, rather than the guests that are behaving like rabid children. IF I stay here through the night, I will NEVER stay at another one of these hotels. Awful service.
