I've been on a waiting list for 2 years now! They try to monitor me every 2 weeks as I have atypical anorexia nervosa and a borderline personality disorder, I struggle to leave the house on a daily and no help whatsoever just blame that's all they are good at, in reality they want people who are just depressed. They can't deal with anything else completely useless service and to get a guy calling me every month and telling me the same story I'm tired of it and I'll make sure you notice! The amount of deaths yous have on your hands is an abomination!

With be making a formal complaint shortly about the level of care my daughter has received. I'm not sure these reviews make any difference but for anyone reading I would seek help else where. You won't get it here. CPN's come and go and most don't have the appropriate training or even bother to get in contact in the first place eventually moving on. Appointments are changed at short notice or not kept meaning months between follow ups. Disgraceful.

I would leave 0 stars if I could! I suffer with incredibly challenging anxiety symptoms. Vicky , the manager of the service, telephoned me earlier this year to say they were discharging me from the service because I wasn't ready to leave house and face the reality of civilization. They must've thought I was being unreasonable! I mean seriously?, I wasn't well at all! She also said that they wouldn't increase my medication, but wouldn't give me a valid reason for that; her excuse was that her teams' prescribing rules are different to those of the previous service I was under in Bishop Auckland, Durham. She said to see my GP for medication alterations. What happened next? - after requesting an increase in medication from my GP, the GP has referred me back to this awful service! I had a telephone assessment 5 days ago with my father present. I explained how a doctor at West park hospital increased my medication in 2015 and how much it actually helped me. I was a well man for 3-4 years. We both (myself and my father) couldn't explain enough how much better my life was on the higher dose of my medication. I was much more able, motivated, productive, but most importantly & significantly my bad anxiety symptoms were no longer a problem. They were settled, in fact almost non-existant. The result of the assessment is that they're not willing to increase my medication. A decision that was made on a Saturday without a doctor present. So who made the decision? Who knows. I wasn't told. All I was told is that they're not willing to increase it. Since the reduction of the medication in 2019 I have been a bag of nerves on a daily basis worrying, threating, having to deal with the way I feel almost constantly, tensing, feeling sick my stomach, feeking weak and falling to my knees. I've even had to pause several times whilst typing this because of shaking and stressing. Why should I be left like this? VICKY and the rest of the COMMUNITY TREATMENT TEAM are a total waste of government funds. They don't care and they don't treat you as an individual. They think they know what's best for you without having ever meeting you. They think they know me better than myself and my father. They're a complete and utter joke. My advice to anyone contemplating using this service is to move out of area and seek help elsewhere, because you won't get it here!
