This is not a review about the service you get from the unit, just a warning about finding it. I had a 10.30 appointment for my mother and entered the main entrance via car at 10am....I was still driving around the site trying to access the unit 30 mins later due to the one way system and do not enter signs they have in place. I finally found one helpful chap that said you can only access the unit from one entrance, which is E. So I had to leave the hospital to find the main road and come back in from another entrance. Be warned, the map and instructions to not tell you this. Utter cr#p if u don't know this. Regards Dave

LIke any service there are good and bad experiences, both of which I have had at the Tranwell unit as a Bi-polar sufferer with symptoms of schizophrenia. After experiencing a very arrogant and condescending Psychiatrist, I asked for a change and now have a wonderful understanding consultant who truly tries his very best to find the right treatment option for me, and takes my opinons seriously. The Tranwell unit is improving and the majority of staff are good people. I believe that I have genuinely benefited overall from my visits there.
