Vets Now Gateshead

We telephoned Vets Now Gateshead on the Bank Holiday weekend after the heartbreaking decision to have our beloved 14 year old Lab Collie cross humanely euthanized due to rapidly deteriorating condition. From the outset, Vets Now were absolutely lovely, they agreed that we were making the right decision and booked us in, we were there within 20 minutes. They allowed us time to spend with Bonnie and administered a sedative to keep her calm. Lots of tears and emotions but the vet, nurses and receptionist were all lovely. I arrived home from work today to find a hand written card from the team and a packet of forget me not seeds, that's the 1st time I have had that with any Vet service. Yes, it's a bit more pricey due to being out of hours,however, you can't put a price on your family pet's end of life care. Thank you once again guys for giving Bonnie a peaceful and respectful journey.

I brought my cat in out of hours, he was in pain and very uncooperative. The vet persisted patiently and kindly in helping him even though he was quite aggressive. He was given what he needed to leave feeling a lot happier than he went in and made a swift recovery.

Dog was seen quickly but I was told to wait in the car while blood tests were being taken I dont think they were done Dog is better now but I had to pay almost 500 pounds which even out of hours was too expensive Vet nurses were lovely but I think the vet has been DISHONEST about the blood tests
