FIRST

To be honest, I hate events like this. But upon arriving, I was immediately put at ease. After sitting down at a lonely table, I got myself comfortable. Then more people arrived, and someone came to my table and held out his hand to greet me. Once it all got started it actually turned out to be one of the best decisions I made. I was eventually able to talk to multiple people about my business and their ideas as well. That was just day one! More recently, I have been in touch with one of the speakers and had a Zoom meeting with him (Andrew Gibson, The North East Fund). My new journey has begun, thanks to FIRST!

I had the most fantastic time on the two day event, it was highly interesting , the speakers passed on some great knowledge of their experiences, I felt I learned so much about marketing and funding which were the areas I was most interested in, and came away feeling a lot more confident and clear about whats next on my own journey, I connected with loads of new people on the course so walked away with extended help. Overall I had the best two days we were also well looked after very well with gorgeous food and beverages It was a Five star event run by five star people
