Not an amazing experience. Asked for pie of the day (which said potato and cheese on the sign) with some chips, a can of cola, the mozarella and tomato sandwich in ciabatta bread with a caramel latte as well as two cakes. Was told they had no tins of cola and the mozzarella and sub blushed tomato ciabatta sandwich was unavailable. So asked for just a diet coke and ham and cheese toastie instead. Sat down outside as the weather was nice and since it was busy inside. The pie came on its own with the two cakes and the latte, but didn't come with cutlery. And the pie looked like corn beef to me, not great for vegetarians out there. Asked several members of staff for some cutlery as the pie was getting cold and took over an hour for them and the rest of our order to come, just to find out my ham and cheese toastie I also asked for was made into a cold stale sandwich. Total disaster for a first time visit. The only upside was the caramel latte which was delicious. When asked why there was such a wait we were told it was because staff were sent home as it wasn't busy an hour earlier despite the farm itself having an event on today so surely you'd expect it to pick up at some point? Didn't bother asking for a refund as we still support small local businesses but we personally didn't feel satisfied and hope that the staff take this review into consideration to improve as this was really not a great first time experience. Vegetarian options: Tried to opt for vegetarian options but were were given a surprise corn beef pie.
