        I've always enjoyed going to Engine Room. I love a decent pint of ale, and the beer there is great. Food is good too. The kitchen closes quite early so don't get caught out there. The only problem this time for me was the noise. May have been unlucky but it was 5pm on a weekday and the noise was really excessive. Couldn't hear myself think! Difficult for the place to do anything about that of course, but I found it uncomfortable enough to make me think again.

        Booked for Sunday lunch, food was lovely and big portions, service was quick with friendly staff and really buzzing atmosphere, we will definitely go back again Parking: Large car park situated at rear of the pub
