This would have been 5 stars but for the fact that certain items - which we were looking forward to on the menu - were unavailable.

Over the last few days, we'd been in here twice. First time just for a drink and second to have an evening meal. Both times, the staff were friendly and helpful. Although when we ate, my choice was out of stock So i, too, had the steak pie, chips, and veg like my wife Disappointed at not having what I wanted. The pie was really nice. Please note that the food is served between 12 and 7 Monday to Saturday Unsure what happens on a Sunday

A really nice pubin the middle of town, serving excellent food, all home cooked. Portions are very good and service excellent.
