Eye test today with the wonderful Edward. He was re-assuring, professional and took the time to listen. He has such a caring manner and my nerves just disappeared. This was my first visit and all the staff could not have been more attentive. So grateful for everything they have done for me.

I received a call back from an optician under the minor-eye injury scheme. They were very professional and very kind, took a really thorough history and listened carefully to my answers before providing advice. Really pleased with the service I received.

I am usually very fussy with my glasses since I have to have them on all the time . I chose the drive-safe Zeiss lenses with a titanium frame. I looked at all the reviews and rang a few opticians in Lancaster and Carnforth. I was given ridiculous quotes too !!. Then I contacted Clare and Howard as they had the Zeiss lenses there , and to my delight these were on offer. I really enjoyed the whole process as it is never easy to find the right glasses!! I was delighted by the professionalism, the service. the care and attention , the choice and the options given to me during my time there. No pushing and I didn't feel I was sold something I wasn't sure about...they give you the time to think and respect you in taking that time to chose well. The costs vary but I wanted to treat myself having kept what I call my " Museum glasses" for so long during the lockdown. Absolutely delighted to have gone with C&H opticians as their level of knowledge and the non pushy attitude. Of course I am absolutely delighted with my glasses, you cant go wrong with getting your specs there. I love mine.:)
