Having known this pub for many years, my parents had raved about the new renovation and knew restaurant. So my partner, myself and my parents decided to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary over a meal and drinks. The garden was never used before, it was a shame due to there being so much space. Walking up and seeing it now, it's totally different, outdoor pods, huge decking space with decorated pergola covering seating booths with heaters so comfortable in the winter aswell as in the summer. I delivered a cake prior to the booking and was assured it would be delivered to the table whenever I gave a signal. Upon arrival we were given a lovely table, offered drinks and throughout had great service, they were genuinely interacting with us rather than just serving, we felt almost like we'd known them for years! The food was delicious! I had a Madras curry which is my favourite, shared a lamb biriani with my partner and it was cooked perfectly. They delivered the cake after our meal and they took photos for us as well. We enjoyed the company of the staff, food and atmosphere and would absolutely be there again soon!! I love how they have joined together a classic stylish cocktail bar and an Indian restaurant, not seen often and really works well! This is a hidden diamond, you won't be disappointed!
