If you are not the person they care for some will treat you like dirt. If you stand up to them they accuse you of being abusive. They provided care for my mother who lives with me.
They give you incorrect information so when you try to do something or ask for something you are trying to take advantage or worse. Try to explain & you are being abusive.
I am disabled & often ill. One of the incorrect pieces of information I was given was that the carers would wait until I could let them in. The carers will not wait more than 45-60 seconds. Enough if you are not disabled or ill in bed. If you are they leave & say there was no answer. This is after you have spoken to them on the phone & asked them to wait a minute.
If you make a complaint you are told they have reported you for abusive language.
Some will move things they have no reason to touch or be near. Making more work for you. Things vanish, then mysteriously appear days later.
There are many more examples.
Watch your backs. Have a witness there if possible. Ask for another agency to provide care.
