Broke the zipper on my carhartt jacket during drycleaning, they did repair it somewhat with a soldered on ring, no offer of compensation for the broken item. Did a fine job for relatively cheap but I wouldn't trust them with anything high value or.complicated to clean.

Needed a laundrette for my laundry as my washing machine wasnt working. It was 7 for a medium sized 30 minute wash. The tumble dryer was 2 for 15 minutes. I selected hot wash but checked the water from the top of the machine throughout because my old school dad told me to. And guess what? Dad was right. The water was ice cold the whole time. What kind of a wash is that? I asked the man working there why the water was cold. He said that the pre-wash is cold. Alright, I give him the benefit of the doubt. Then it gets to the wash part of the cycle and its still ice cold. So he goes in the back to fiddle with the boiler. Long story short, it never gets hot. He claims the boiler needs time to reach optimal temperature. But his shops already been open for 2 hours. So what about all the people that came before me? Obviously this man is lying, he knows his own boiler and Im pretty sure he operates in cold water because it saves him money and no ones noticed. I just feel bad for all the people that pay for dry cleaning for bed sheets and towels and things. He literally gives them a cold wash. I saw him do many big loads in the cold water washing machines. He also turned quiet as a mouse when he realized that I had realized what he was doing. He offered my money back. He gave me 6. (Why not 7?) Absolutely meaningless to be honest. My time was wasted and I went to another laundrette after. He knows what hes doing Nasty business. Service: Laundry wash & fold
