Apex Architecture Ltd

Apex got us permission on a development that was both tricky(due to some bad history with the local council ) and in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We had shopped around before deciding to go with apex because of there reputation with builders and the local council. We shall now be progressing our project with Apex for building regulation drawings and tendering out to 4 local quality builders. We are confident that Jon and the rest of his team at Apex will be achieving our dream project to becoming a reality in way of converting a two bedroom bungalow into a 4 bedroom 2 story house.

Apex Architects have been friendly and professional since the beginning of our project. They have helped us to create a truely unique development. They have given great advice at every stage from helping us to obtain planning permission in a AONB, to the selection of building materials and build-ability. We have recently used Apex Architectures services to help us envisage the best way to reconfigure our living area from a traditional 1950s layout to a more open plan setting. Each stage of the process was clearly explained from the initial proposals where any concerns were quickly addressed, through to the final detailed plan, allowing it to progress through to Building Control approval in a relatively short period of time. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Apex Architecture. Jon White did a fantastic job designing the extension to our cottage. We used Apex for the design stage as well as for the technical drawings and building regulations package. The communication from Jon and all of the team was superb throughout. Thank you Apex!

Jon took some existing house plans and made some sensible suggestions to improve them. Small changes, big impact. He submitted them, with all the supporting paperwork for planning permission. He then worked tirelessly with the planning department to ensure that they looked upon our application favourably, answering all their questions, challenging some of their comments. Our planning permission was approved. If we had to do it all again (please no!), I'd have no hesitation in going back to Apex Architecture. Highly recommended.
