        I was charged 8 different times from when I hired the vehicle for one week. They charged me for a booking which was not collected as they called and said the vehicle is not available after the website saying it is and me having booked it. To put the icing on the cake, they further charged me another cancellation charge for the one where they dont have a car also another charge purely because Avis felt like messing my week up and leaving me stranded. Having returned the vehicle I did not get my money back after numerous calls and emails not once has Avis contacted me. Instead they charged me another 8.86 for I have not a clue. So to all reading this, stay the hell away from Avis, unless u like being stung and being out of pocket.
