When I first made contact with the organisation I had a negative experience the office staff wasnt very helpful at all suggesting I would need to wait 48hrs until a representative would be able to visit which I felt was unacceptable. Later that day I had a knock on the door and it was the workman from Mears (Scot Jackson) who had come early as he felt this was an urgent job to do and I shouldnt have to wait that long. The service Scot provided was to a very high standard, he was very helpful explaining what needed to be done and he carried this out in a professional manor. (Gainsborough Area).

We have had an ongoing issue with a property looked after by Longhurst Group and have been met with employee confusion and complete lack of competency. Not to mention, no empathy. We fear for our own property, our home, as there has been nothing done for months about the fencing being down. Furthermore the gate to the garden/home is down as well. This is a major safety issue. My husband and I have made a number of calls and spoken to a number of people. He messaged and called in over a year ago to note that the fencing was falling into our garden and that the previous tenant was allowing their rubbish to find its way onto our property and nothing was done. In recent months the fencing panels have completely come down, along with the gate into the property AND one outside panel. I have spoken to the maintenance team. I have messaged in and called every few weeks to check on the progress as I have been told to do by whoever answered the phone and reported our concerns that day and every time I call I am met with, "I can't believe nothing has been done, they usually respond within 2 working days...or 2 weeks..." When I called recently I was made aware that there were TWO CASE NUMBERS... I was then transferred to repairs, conveniently the call was disconnected in the midst of him trying to escalate the concern of ours. I called back to be told that we should wait until Monday, March 21st to call AGAIN if nothing had been done. I called today, March 24th - I was told that there is nothing they can do due to the lot being vacant. Please replace the two fence panels that have been nonexistent for months now. Give us, and our children peace of mind and the chance to play in the garden again without worry that someone may come through to our property.

So Longhurst have told my disabled mother she had to wait a month for them to repair our ONLY toilet (what is upstairs) and told we have to wait 2 months for them to repair our 6ft fence that fell during the storm. They also refused to let us get a professional in to repair it and send them the bill. There response was that there going to send a surveyor to assess it. Are you for real longhurst. Ps I will be paying to put this in a add in local papers.
