InstaVolt Charging Station

Not impressed, Instovolt put the surcharge up from 5 to 15 with no notices on the charge points, the contactless doesn't always work, iv had to tap my card 3 times on occasions which will mean now a 45 surcharge, I know it goes back what you don't use but stays pending in your account for 3 to 4 days.

1st attempt with Instavolt, once I'd got my brain in gear it was great, forget app, use contactless card.

Excellent charger once you can get it to work. App would not load so had to use a contactless credit card. Within 30 seconds of it charging it stopped charging. I had to uncouple the cable, return it to the holder then start the whole procedure from the start. My second attempt worked ok. Whilst having a coffee nearby, I worked out why the app didnt work. It was because l was picking up a free internet signal from a nearby shop. Once I cancelled wi-fi in settings on my phone, the InstaVolt app worked on my 4g phone signal. It shouldnt be so difficult.
