Had four days in the heron cabin this week, Bill was there to greet us, He's very nice guy who made you feel comfortable if you should need to contact him for any reason, we didn't as he had prepared everything perfectly before arrival. Clean with a cosy view of the river. Hot tub was clean and bill had clearly inspected it before our arrival. Log burner was good fun but the cabin must be very well insulated as you couldn't keep it on all evening it just got to warm. Couldn't have been happier with the time we spent there. Highly recommend people to check it out We are Looking forward to booking again in the future.

This place now holds such a special place in our hearts!! Lovely weeks stay in September last year as a couple with our dog. Bill was very friendly, he gave us ideas of places to visit, one being low forces where we actually got engaged! Welcome basket on arrival including a bottle of Prosecco and orange juice which was a lovely gesture. The most amazing burger place found in dinnington town centre too. Lovely walks nearby, hot tub clean, cabin clean, friendly cleaners, Wi-Fi good. The only slight downfall was the flies, but not a deal breaker. I guess that comes with the wildlife and appears to be a problem more so in some near by places. All in all will definitely return for a cosy few nights away. Thanks so much x

Great stay at Whispering Water Lodges, Bill was great and ensured we had everything we needed. Lodge is spacious, clean and has everything you need for a short break. The welcome package was highly appreciated, a bottle of bubbly never goes a miss! Location is great, so peaceful and quiet with small towns near by should you wish to explore. We would definitely recommend and return again.

It's a nice enough place, and I could imagine it to be a lot better in the summer. But these cold dark nights , there isn't much to do, apart from going in hot tub, which I didn't think was very clean. It's supposed to be under floor heating, it's not, it's only a slab of concrete that's supposed to retain the heat, but the floor was freezing to walk on. . We spent over 20 on logs to keep the place warm.
