Stayed here for two nights with my wife. Its a beautiful cosy cottage with everything you need for a relaxing getaway and with a pub 4/5 seconds away from the front door. The decor is tastefully done and the facilities are quirky, tasteful and brilliant. However, its the attention to detail and the thought that has clearly been put in by the owners that leaves a great impression. They clearly want you to have a perfect time at their place and want to look after their guests as best as they can. Its what makes a difference and left us looking for dates for next year whilst still lying on their settee in front of the toastie log fire. Can not recommend highly enough. Will be back asap

Our 2nd visit to The Old Dairy and it certainly didn't disappoint again. It was lovely to re-visit in a different season, which gave us a good excuse to try the very welcome addition of the wood burner. Such a cosy little cottage with everything you could possibly need and more. Even the dog looked over the moon to be back for her favourite walk down to the Tees for a swim. We visited Raby Castle this time, a beautiful walk on an autumn day around the deer park and coffee and cake in the new Yurt. Enjoyed the local Parmo at the Cross Keys, a very friendly little pub which is far too convenient and can also recommend the fish and chips in the village. A perfect break in a cottage that envelops you like warm hug when you walk through the door. Thank you N & C, we will be back!
