Clean and presentable reception area with friendly staff. I felt that the treatment seemed to be a little rushed and somewhat almost mechanized.... In, job done, out, Next...

Months of back pain sorted out with just a few visits. Really friendly and quite possibly magic.

I had a terrible lower back pain and was recommended to visit Teddington Ostiopaths by my friend. From very first visit I was very pleased - the clinic is clean and well set up, the reception staff is welcoming and helpful. Camila who was treating me was very knowledgabe, experienced and understanding. Having a very stiff and painful lower back for a month, after 3 visit Camila cured all the problems and helped me to get back to active sport. Highly recommend Teddington Ostiopaths to everyone who has back, joints or mascular pains.

Prospective patients should be aware that this business does not employ surgical podiatrists and is not licensed to prescribe any medicines to include antibiotics, pain medicine, anti nausea, anti inflamotory's, etc. This may present an inconvenience if the patient has a condition that is chronic or requires surgery, as they are unable to issue patients pre - or post-operative medicine. Overall, and at a minimum, this means they are unable to treat urgent cases timely, as all urgent and many non urgent cases require a degree of medicine to treat the overall condition. Patients are referred to a GP or NHS A&E department to obtain the necessary medication, which, again, impacts the speed at which the condition can be treated. Surgical treatments take place on site, evidently (not outsourced), therefore the use of protected medicines such as phenol and various anesthetics are administered - which seems to misalign with their ability to prescribe medication to patients. Ecidently they are licensed to administer controlled drugs to patients during surgery, but not pre or post surgery. This view is a general, objective, non medical expert observation, and likely, a logical reason exists for an evidently pharmacological paradox. Wait times for surgery appear to vary, but in some cases, at least a week. Therefore, if you're in pain and can not receive medicine to help with pain, inflamation, or infection, as per their policy, you may be referred elsewhere to obtain the required medications. The business does not work directly with insurance providers, meaning they can not accept direct payment from those providers. You must pay out of pocket for treatment to obtain an invoice, file a claim with insurance, await a decision from your insurance, and eventually receive reimbursement, presuming the claim is approved. There are no options available to consult or diagnose conditions via phone or video call. This means that if your issue is urgent and requires further invasive procedures such as surgery, you'll need to go through the formality of an in person visit first, prior to being treated - this can be very uncomfortable and painful for many depending on the severity of the condition. Professional and friendly staff and satisfactory within business hour response times. Nice clean facility - not too outdated. Equipment and tech appear up to date. Generally, one may recommend this business as long as the health concern is not significant, chronic, and/or requires surgery, given the lack of pre - and post-operative medicinal support. The business appears effective at treating minor conditions and quick fixes. Overall, the establishment is a good option for non urgent, non chronic, and non painful conditions. *Please note that this review does not necessarily pertain to any specific condition or treatment received by myself or anyone else at this business.
