We met George seven years ago when we were renovating our master bathroom and were very impressed with the thorough design process and advice offered. When it was time to extend and remodel our ground floor, we knew Woodrow Vizor Architects were therefore the right practice to go to. From concept to completion they were able to bring our vision to life. We wanted a modern open space with a large kitchen and lots of natural light that blended into our garden, opening up views to our olive trees. It was essential for the space to be both practical and striking which is exactly how it feels today. There were so many decisions to be made and they patiently explained every option available so we could make the right choices. They then professionally dealt with the contractor and our suppliers and made us feel we were in safe hands. Their passion for great design and attention to detail is visible around our home, from the alignment of the asymmetrical glass roof which fits perfectly to the existing house, to the detailed electrical drawings that had to be carefully planned before the exposed brick and concrete went in. Every activity we do throughout our day, being laundry, cooking, homework with the children or entertaining family and friends, Woodrow Vizor Architects have created a very special place where we spend most of our family time. We couldn't be happier with the result!

George and Georgina have been invaluable to our project. We needed to complete our project quickly as we had a baby on the way, they quickly came up with a fantastic design, helped us get a good price during the tender process with our builder and although we managed the build ourselves they still offered advice when we needed it most during the build. I could not recommend them more highly.

A shame we are limited to only 5 stars, wed give more if we could! George Woodrow was responsive, thorough and conscientious from start to finish. Our project was a whole house renovation, including a ground floor extension and loft conversion. During the design phase George listened carefully to what we wanted and supplied his own thoughts and ideas where appropriate, producing really brilliant concepts. He handled a difficult planning permission process with a blend of patience and tenacity and then gave us sound, honest advice throughout the tender process for a builder. Throughout the build itself we often wondered how we would have coped without George. He helped us and the builder to navigate the inevitable disagreements and was always fair and balanced in his view. George was able to spot issues early in order to head them off and he also sent us suggestions in respect of interior finishes etc. Importantly, George helped us get the most out of our budget and was clear and transparent about his own costs. He was 100% committed to our project and went above and beyond on several occasions. We highly recommend him.

Woodrow Architects are a thoroughly professional firm with a meticulous eye for detail and a contemporary approach to design.
