Heathcote Primary Care Centre

Must be the worst GP in all of the UK. Almost impossible to get an appointment. The Receptionists will make things as difficult for you as possible and act like they're guarding gold, rather than access to your doctor. Best decision I ever made was switching GPs.

Dr Soares is one of the best Drs I have ever come across against, explains everything very well, how to take precautions to avoid problems in the future, etc. The surgery itself is shambles, one of the receptionist is very rude. Ive called numerous amount of times but unfortunately if she picks up she is always rude and unwilling to help. There are two/three other colleagues in reception that are always helpful and kind but not always present or able to take phone calls. Common issue Ive encountered is that either the doctors are unwell/holiday or appointments arent available call back, to be told the same later. Alternatively they can give you other places to visit but whats the point in registering with your surgery if your not going to see patients there

I received an appointment to see Dr Soares face to face within a couple of days of phoning. Reception very helpfull as usual. Called in by Dr Soares as soon as I arrived. Received a full explenation for my problem and what I need to do, plus lots of tests (Blood etc) arranged. "I'm 87 and feel very privileged to have this wonderful care centre to go to"

I don't know why people put bad reviews about the reception staff, I have found them brilliant and so helpful, as is Dr Soares and the nurses etc I would highly recommend this surgery - they are amazing
