        Very busy branch but good customer service

        Well staffed, plenty of cash points and tellers. Parking is difficult but overall good to have a local branch

        This is the worst experience of customer service I have ever encountered. My elderly mother was instructed that the only way she could access her money as she wanted to was to wait over 3 hrs to comply with their constantly changing policies for transferring money in the absence of online banking, waiting in branch with no access to facilities. Any attempt i made to contact the branch to find out if she was ok ended in failure as the branch telephone number is not available and was not provided. The so called telephone customer service is terrible, waited over 1hr trying to get through. I would steer clear of Barclays bank after this experience and particularly barkingside branch especillaly for the elderly
