Who Done It
Had a fabulous evening here with lovely freshly cooked food in front of you. Portions are not huge but perfect for my appetite Quaint restaurant with lots of personality. Waitress couldn't have been more attentive. Enjoyable experience. Parking: In a residential area

Exquisite mezze produced in a tiny open kitchen with a lot of love. I havent felt more at home in a restaurant than here. It is not a business but rather a home-cooked warm welcome. Highly recommended if you want to experience something unique and local. The place sits only c. 20 people. Pre-booking recommended.

After 131 photo contributions to Google I am sad to post my first negative review. I came for a quiet catch-up with a couple friends over mezze and a drink but left feeling disappointed, unwelcome and possibly discriminated against. And judging by the names of a majority of their one star reviews that they share a common pattern that shouldn't go ignored. At 7pm within a foot inside the empty restaurant we were met by the waiting staff. I asked if we could grab drinks like tea here with which they responded that we couldn't be here without ordering food which is fair enough so I asked for the menu. We decided on which food immediately however in a very dismissive and patronising way she said that the completely empty restaurant was now suddenly fully booked until late into the evening. We left with uncomfortable awkwardness and when we happened to walk by later on in the evening only to find that the restaurant had many vacant tables. I'd like to highlight that the customers in the restaurant were much older white folk. And so we came to the unfortunate conclusion that myself (Filipino) and two of my friends (also Filipino and the other Indian) were specifically unwelcome. Considering that the restaurant with a French name, East/ SE Asian dcor and Lebanese cuisine I am surprised by the outright prejudiced actions shown to potential customers. Definitely think twice about this place even if you're a part of their demographic.
