When I arrived 11 years ago in England, London, my first mission after securing a place to stay was to find a spiritual home. I found one by following the sign from far down the road. The first Sunday I sat and listened and have continued to come ever since I was not looking for a perfect church. There is no such thing. Churches are not meant for "nice people" only, they are for people who know they need Jesus to go througj life. The factor that held me was the quality of the word preached, not in erudition and ceremony, but what us Truth. All Christians who know they are saved but regrettably don't always live up to being perfect, learn to recognise the Holy Spirits prompting to hear a still small voice in tumult, or sudden gift if unexpected peace in a situation that demands out core being to freak out. This is what I found on my first visit and continue to do so. The fellowship available serves to define the difference between people of God and people who follow the world ad it dictates. I thank God for this corner of balm in a world that continues to beckon us away from Him.
