great innovative food mixing its farm to table origins with excellent Christmas specials. The chocolate mousse with infused gelato was divine. During these cold months it would be great if they put up one of those curtains at the sliding door entrance like you see in Paris or NYC but it was still warm - GO!

Vegetarian options: There was a very nice vegetarian option. Kid-friendliness: They were nice to everyone and treated them the same no matter what age they were. Parking: There were plenty of spaces all very close to the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: The ground was all on the same level.

Popped in (for coffee didn't realise they did meals )for 2 coffees at 3 each but then charged extra 75p for either service charge or card charge by them,left a sour taste so guess i wont be returning. This was only last week . I was surprised by the service charge on just a coffee and didn't realise at time ,I have upped rating to 3 star as have rated atmosphere was nice and sevice was ok. May just not be the place for me ...your reply is bit harsh since i have not critised your product.

Great, no, beautiful setting, welcoming staff, interesting menu but the food really did not live up to the description. A seasoning issue throughout the menu, we were a group of 6 with various meals. The starters were under and all of the mains were too salty. A great shame as we wanted to love it, disappointing overall but we will give it another try. It is a very different offering in the Alton area.
